Grades 3–8 homeschool curriculum

Every skill unlocked, one level at a time.

Grades 3–8, mapped skill by skill. Planned for you.

Six animal professors guide your kid through grades 3–8 on a skill map they can see. Waypoint Scholar writes their lessons at the right level in each subject, prints worksheets with answer keys, and unlocks each standard as they master it. You get the full report.

The Waypoint Scholar faculty on a sunny trail: an owl in a bow tie with a giant pencil, a fox in a cardigan with a storybook, a rabbit in a lab coat with a bubbling flask, a bear in an explorer's jacket with a map, a hedgehog in a world-map scarf with a globe, and a beaver in a paint-splattered apron with a laptop

The weekly loop

Plan, play, level up

The same three steps every week. You stay in charge of what gets taught.

1

Build the profile

Grade, a level in each subject, favorite topics and school hours. Kids ahead in one subject skip ahead there.

2

Get the week's quests

Daily lessons with steps, materials, a worksheet and a 3D model where it helps.

3

Level up

Kids check off quests; you add scores. Skills unlock at 80% mastery, and next week adapts.

Six levels

What each grade unlocks

Grades 3–8 take kids from arithmetic to algebra and from stories to analysis. They're also the years states test reading and math every spring, so practice checks are built in.

Professor Bram Bear

Professor Bram says: “Every glowing node on the map is a skill your kid has mastered. Spin it around — the trail goes all the way to Algebra I.”

Questions

What parents ask

What if my child is ahead in one subject?

Set a level for each subject separately, from 2nd to 9th grade. A 5th grader can do 7th-grade math and 5th-grade reading in the same week.

Can I change the lessons?

Yes. Rewrite any subject's week, jump to a different unit on the course map, or teach a lesson your own way. Waypoint Scholar records what you actually taught.

How do the practice checks work?

Each check has fifteen multiple-choice questions and three short written answers drawn from the year's course, in the style of a spring state test, with an answer key. Print one whenever you want a snapshot.

Does it meet my state's requirements?

Every lesson is tagged to Common Core, NGSS or the C3 social studies framework, and the records page logs days, hours and subjects. States set their own rules, so check yours for what to keep or submit.

Who can see my children's information?

Only you. Parents create the account; children don't need emails or logins. We never sell family data. See the privacy policy.

How do I cancel?

From Billing in your account, at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
